What is a DPP?
A DPP is like a digital fingerprint for your products. With the QR code on articles, you give consumers access to sustainability data such as the origin and composition of materials, sustainability certificates and the supply chain journey of your product.
Why a DPP?
Starting in 2027, every apparel and footwear item sold in the EU must include a DPPโaccessible via a QR code or RFID tag on the product itself. This initiative aims to increase transparency, reduce waste, and promote informed purchasing decisions.
Setting a good intention for 2025?
Although the legislation is not yet completely final and 2027 still seems very far away, we are happy to lay the base now to unburden you. With an innovative DPP that uses the data from Itsperfect, can be set up quickly, and presented to consumers in the right branding. And modules that help you map traceability.
Fully integrated with your existing processes
Unlike external vendors, our DPP is fully integrated into our ERP system, ensuring faster implementation and lower costs.
Here’s how it works in the basics:
1. Start by capturing the supply chain journey step by step for each material in the traceability module.
2. When a particular material is used for multiple items, we automatically feed that into all items.
3. Create a purchase order and see the complete supply chain.
4. Generate a unique QR code with 1 click in the purchase order system.
5. When the consumer scans it, it gets to the DPP with information such as the origin of materials, techniques used such as embroidery or weaving, environmental impact, and the amount of recycled material.
Add-ons
Integrated Vendor Portal: Facilitate yourself and give vendors access to provide early supply chain journey materials through our integrated vendor portal.
Sustainability: Do you want to show sustainability certificates in your Digital Product Passport? Then you can use our Sustainability module for this purpose. It allows you to manage and maintain Social Compliance Audits and scope and transaction certificates.
